Shortbread By:Anon Ingredients 150g(6oz) plain flour 100g(4oz) margarine 50g(2oz) castor sugar Method 1.Put the flour in a bowl, rub in the margarine, stir in the sugar. 2.Knead the dough together. 3.Roll out to 1cm(½in) thickness and cut into rounds with a pastry cutter. 4.Place on an oiled baking sheet and cook at 170°C/Gas Mark3 for 15-20 mins. 5.Allow to cool on wire tray, and then add extra sugar if desired. |
